Experience
Dr. Cushing successfully practiced the art and science of chiropractic, natural allergy desensitization , bio-magnetic analysis and therapy, biokinetics , contact reflex analysis (C.R.A. ), homeopathy, and nutritional therapy in his own holistic healing center in Maine for approximately 25 years. He was well-known and widely respected in the northeastern United States for his extraordinary ability to use innovative clinical methods to resolve very difficult cases of allergies, digestive disorders, metabolic, and neuromuscular syndromes that often defied orthodox medical treatment.

During his very active period of private practice in Maine, Dr. Cushing’s reputation was such that he was sought out by patients from all over the world.  He was very successful in the holistic therapy of a wide range of disorders, including chronic, colitis, Crohn’s disease, eczema, psoriasis, and obscure dermatitis.  Because of his post-graduate level training in neuromuscular disorders, he was able to successfully resolve very challenging cases of ADD/ADHD, including some very difficult cases in which the parents had been advised to institutionalize their child because of their uncontrollable and dangerous behavior.  Dr. Cushing has also been able to provide holistic protocols for many other conditions of Hyperkinesis, Dyslexia, Autistic spectrum syndrome, and many neurological disorders.

Dr. Cushing has had extensive clinical practice and gained a wealth of knowledge from many unusual cases of patients suffering from continued and relentless pain syndromes without the aid of narcotics.  In particular, Dr. Cushing’s methods have helped patients suffering from reflex sympathetic dystrophy, spinal stenosis, and facial and sciatic neuropathies.  At his practice in Maine, Dr. Cushing saw several cases of life-threatening juvenile idiopathic progressive scoliosis.  With a very special technique, he was able to greatly improve their condition and halt the need for difficult and dangerous surgeries.

Early in his practice, Dr. Cushing’s late first wife developed into a “universal reactor” to almost all foods, chemicals, and inhalants as a result of a reaction to a series of vaccinations.  Dr. Cushing has made it his life’s mission to discover the underlying cause and effective holistic protocols for all allergies.  After years of research, Dr. Cushing developed his patented AllerCease™ technique for the management of allergic reactions.

The AllerCease™ technique is so effective in the management of all types of allergies that Dr. Cushing enjoys a 98% success rate.   This simple and powerful therapy can provide relief for many patients from life-long allergies in just one office visit.  In recent years, Dr. Cushing has taken this concept of “frequency desensitization” one step further to help patients suffering with auto-immune syndromes by desensitizing them to their own bodily secretions.  The AllerCease™ technique, as well as Dr. Cushing’s other treatments, allow patients to live a life of renewed strength, health, and freedom.

In addition, Dr. Cushing has extensive knowledge in the therapy of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), which is highly correlated to “universal reactors,” conditions such as fibromyalia, and the physical and mental stress associated with modern lifestyles.  While in Maine, Dr. Cushing devoted much of his professional career to holistic care of both CFS and fibromyalia.

Test kits are sent directly to Dr. Cushing’s long distance patients with clear instructions.  Following completion of the test kit (saliva, fecal, or blood samples are typically required), the patient sends the test kit directly to a certified CLIA lab for analysis. CLIA labs are also used by Dr. Cushing in his clinical practice.
