Before i answer this question ,there are some scientific facts that need to first be understood. A flat surfaced magnet has, on one side, a north/negative or south seeking aspect, on the other side, a south/positive or north seeking aspect. And, it is now extremely well documents what the biological effects of each pole have on human tissue.
All normal human cells have a negative magnetic charge: when human tissue is substantially stressed (physically or chemically) from any source it often reverses to a south or positive magnetic field (North seeking). Then, the tissue becomes acid PH and hypoxic; there’s less enzyme-level activity, more inflammation and less immunity. A positive magnetic field is stressful and can not heal the human body! According to Dr. William Philpott’s extensive research ( and i have experienced this clinically), with frequent exposure it will raise endorphin levels and become addicting.
Research has also confirmed beyond any doubt that, among other things, a positive (North seeking ) magnetic field is conducive to the production of hostile microorganisms and cancer. Furthermore, it blocks the production of melatonin. Because it is also vasodilative and acid-hypoxic, it is not suited for the treatment of edema and bleeding areas from acute injuries. Additionally, because south (positive) pole magnetic field exposure is stressful, stimulatory and vasodilative, it would be a mistake to use it over any suspected cancerous or infected areas of the body. Whereas a sustained negative north pole magnetic field has just the opposite effect when used with sufficient Gauss strength; it then creates an alkaline-hyperoxia state that sustains the life energy of the cells, increases immunity and is destructive to cancer cells and adverse microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. Finally, it is worth mentioning that a negative magnetic field activates oxidoreductase enzymes which have the vital role of detoxification as well as making ATP, it also greatly facilitates the detoxification and neutralization of free radicals and heavy metals which are all-positively charged.
In summary, Dr Phillpott M.D. and many other researches have conclusively proven that a negative magnetic field application is very efficacious in killing:
- hostile microorganisms (such as the herpes family viruses)
- helping cancer
- reducing pain and inflammation
- calming the brain down
- stopping major mental and neurological disorders such as Schizophrenia, ADD, OCD, Tourettes syndromes, epilepsy etc…
Unfortunately it is well beyond the scope of this blog entry to try to delineate the exact protocols for each of the many conditions that lend themselves to bio magnetic therapy.
